Many Fortune 500 companies have come to understand the importance of incorporating weather and climate data into their operations.  By incorporating the affects of weather and seasonal climate trends into your advertising and marketing campaigns, strategic planning programs, and inventory control systems - your company will produce greater operating efficiencies and larger net profits. 

We start by working with your staff to design a program of products and services around your company's unique, weather requirements.  Routinely, our clients find that combination of historical, observed (near real-time), and forecasted data meets their needs best.  Also, many of our clients receive our products and services over multiple methods - allowing them to run distictly different applications simultaneously.

We maintain both hourly and daily historical and observed data records from every National Weather Service reporting station in the United States, as well as other locations around the world.  We currently archived weather data on a real-time basis and certain updates are made hourly.  This hourly archiving began in late November, 1994.

We have combined this hourly database with daily records, which span the entire period of record.  In some cases, we have data as far back as the mid- 1800's. We can provide you with packages of historical weather data from the last 10, 20, or 30 years, or just the last few years, whatever is required to meet your needs.

Since we manage this data in real-time, we also have the flexibility of manipulating the data.  Our datasets has been edited for missing and spurious data by correlating the records with data from adjacent locations, and by using climatological information. This assures you that your models and software will operate flawlessly.

Our historical and observed datasets address some 20 different weather parameters, including recorded values of temperatures, precipitation, humidity, and cloud cover percentages.  We can also provide many calculated variables, such as an average daily temperature, heating or cooling degree day values, or even specific and proprietary parameters unique to your company. And, our historical data can be delivered to you via Email, HTTP (browsers), FTP, XML, or on CD-ROM.  We can provide the historical weather data in any format you require, including ASCII text, Microsoft® Excel, and Access formats, and many other, custom formats.

We compliment our historical and observed data records with our forecasted datasets, which contain both hourly and daily metrics.  Like our historical and observed data records, our forecasted data can be located to a zip code, CMA, DMA, or LAT/LONG point, and  include short, medium and long-term forecasts of some 20 different weather parameters (such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, chance of precipitation, etc.).  Our forecasts can extend out into the future as far as two (2) years.  We forecast on a grid size of 1 square kilometer (about one-half a square mile) throughout all of North America.

Our datasets and weather products are transmitted to our clients via HTTP (browsers), FTP, XML, Email, and by other means.
